A: Yes, but they are only open if you are renting a pavilion.
Q: Is there somewhere close that has a public restroom?
A. Yes, take Rocky Ridge Rd,(Rt.77) to Thurmont. When you get to the square go Right for Sheetz or Burger King or Left then the next Right to go to 7-11, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Shell, or Wendys, or take Motter Station Rd to Rt.15N, then get off at the left exit ramp to South Seton Ave to the Getty Station.
Q: Are there any soda machines?
A: No, but next door on the same side as the park at the old fire company building there is a machine out front.
Q: What can we use on the slide to go fast?
A: Wax paper or burlap bags. Absolutely no hard objects, ie; skateboards, bikes or other recreational items.
Q: Are there places where we can have a small picnic?
A: Yes, there are a few tables set outside of the pavilions which can be used with small groups and are subject to availability. For larger groups please contact the booking coordinator. See contact page for info.
Q: Are there grills?
A: Yes, there is one grill at each pavilion. They are for use by people renting the pavilion.They use charcaol which you supply and are approx. 24"x36".
Q. Are there electric outlets, water faucets and lights?
A: Yes, there are outlets and lights in all the pavilions, and there is a faucet at each big pavilion. There are also lights on the slide.
Q:What time does the park close?
A: The park closes at DARK...
Q: What functions are held at the park?
A: We have festivals by the church, a carnival by the local firemen, and anybody can rent for reunions, weddings, parties etc. See events page for info.
